Egg Roll in a Bowl


Cabbage or Bok Choy
Onions or Spring Onions
Carrots (optional)
Pastured Meat (Ground Pork, Ground Beef, or Chicken)
Sesame Oil


1) Cut up the cabbage or bok choy - whatever you prefer or have on hand. Cut up the other vegetables - onions, peppers, carrots, etc.

2) Brown the meat (Pork, Beef, or Chicken).

3) In a large skillet add 2-4 Tbsp of sesame oil. Add the onions and peppers. Cook just a few minutes, add the cabbage or bok choy and broccoli.  Add a couple pinches of salt for seasoning.

4) Cover the pan with a lid and lower the heat - cook for 10 minutes or so until the greens are tender - but not mushy. The broccoli should turn a bright green color.

5) Add the browned meat - a little more sesame oil and mix together. Cook another 2-3 minutes and serve! When finished cooking, add toasted almonds (optional).
