We are scheduled to start our 28 week season on Tuesday May 10th - however, we have several spring veggies that just can't seem to wait that long!  In order to help our farmer out, we are going to offer a Pre-Season Sale on lots of your Spring-time favorites!

Here's the scoop:  Tomorrow, Sunday May 1st we will open our Farm Market.  We will be offering Broccoli, Bok Choy, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Romaine Lettuce, Kale, Butter Lettuce and Maple Syrup.  These items will be available to order from Sunday May 1st at 7AM - Wednesday May 4th at 10PM.  We have limited quantities of these items available.  This is a great way to order some yummy produce to hold you over until the season begins on May 10th.

We are offering pick ups in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson.  We are excited to have the opportunity to offer you this fresh, local, amazing produce - a  whole week early!!    Thank you for your support!

We visited the farm yesterday.  The strawberries are blooming, many have green berries, and we found a few red ones too!  The lettuce is looking gorgeous!  We should see Bok Choy and Lemon Balm or Mint in our first farm shares.  We heard mention of Cucumbers and Tomatoes coming along nicely.  All of this warm weather is pushing the Spring crops right along.  We are looking forward to seeing what all our May Farm Shares will provide.

We are pleased to announce , new this season, the Anytime Share!  What is the Anytime Share?  Glad you asked.....

The Anytime Share is just what it proclaims...available anytime.  You choose when to order it and when to pass.  There is no commitment.  Do you travel often?  Have a hectic schedule?  On a tight budget?  Unable to commit to a 28 week season? Not sure about the idea of a CSA and want to just try it our first?  Then, the Anytime Share may be a perfect fit for you!

Our Anytime Share will come in the Half or Full size farm share options.  The Anytime Share can be delivered to any of our Middle Tennessee locations.  The Anytime Share will be available to order starting in May.  If you plan to order the Anytime Share, you must submit your order the Sunday prior to delivery.  Any orders submitted after Sunday will be delivered the following week.  We do not offer any refunds for the Anytime Share.  If you do not pick up your share at the appropriate time and location that you requested, your share will be donated to a family in need.

We are delighted to offer the Anytime Share this season.  We believe this will enable more families to take part in this awesome opportunity to support a small, local farmer committed to sustainable farming methods and organic standards.  We believe this will allow us to bring the farm to more families in Middle Tennessee.

We are looking forward to kicking off our season, Tuesday May 10th.  This is a tentative date as we are at the mercy of the weather and the growing plants.  We generally like to start when the Strawberries are ripe and ready!  Please know that our start date is capable of changing as we try and forecast the best time to start so that we have enough variety to fill your Farm Share.

An interesting fact:  The CSA season operates on a bell curve.  When our season begins we start seeing many of our Spring veggies like lettuces, green onions, strawberries, herbs, spinach, leafy greens and more.  The Spring Shares represent the beginning of the growing season.  Once we approach mid-June the Farm Shares start to grow in size and variety.  More and more produce is being grown and ripening at the same time.  It's good to keep in mind that the Spring Shares are not a good indication of how much you will receive over the 28 week season.  We see an abundance of produce during the summer and fall months.
